The 800/801 series tractor is indeed a great all around tractor, especially combinded with a front loader (depending upon your needs).
This Tractor Talk board does seem to be dominated by Farmall and John Deere men. If you go over to the Ford board, there's lots of posts / discussion about the hundred series tractors (i.e., 600 (134 cu.in. utility), 700 (134 cu.in. row crop), 800 (172 cu.in. utility) and 900 (172 cu.in. row crop).
