On the Oliver forum, we've been having an on-going discussion about an interesting subject-- the fact that modern tractors are TOO EXPENSIVE and have too many unnecesary features. We've been looking back at the days when Olivers (and other tractors) offered high performance and high quality at an affordable price. We have been talking about banding together and doing one of two things-- either beginning a new tractor company from scratch, or ressurecting the Oliver name and quality from the ashes of history. For a bunch of arm-chair go-getters, this is all easier said than done. But for any of you who don't regularly visit the Oliver forum, you ought to take a look at some of the things we've been hashing over. We'd really like to pull it off, but we need some major support! So please include your comments, either here, or on the Oliver board. We need your support! JD-8, director of advertising for the new company
