I dont know about that statistic but I"m a 40 year old guy that said for years I"LL NEVER GET MARRIED. Then I went and got married 7 months ago after knowing the lady for only two weeks. Since getting married I"ve gained nearly 15 lbs but I"ve taken my belt up a notch. That"s right, gained weight but decreased my waist size. If I shaved my moustache I"d easily pass for 10 or so years younger but I"ve always been told I looked younger than I am anyways. As a twentysomething I had several "exotic dancers" at my beck and call and back then thought I"d never say NO but now where others complain about not getting enough I"ve got more than I can handle and then some from one lady....and when I"ve got the energy left over and don"t have to say no it"s always GOOD. All that aside I can say that there were perks to being single and having a girlfriend, lots of toys, etc but when there was no one around it could get awful lonely at times. It"s so nice to know when I get home there"s someone there that loves me and cares about me. When I get ready for bed I know there"s someone there to snuggle up with. When I have a problem I know there"s someone that I can share it with....The list of perks goes on and on. The main thing I"ve found is that as long as a husband and wife can be open, honest, and communicate then married life is pretty good. If you start hiding your feelings, lying, and stop communicating then your looking at he11 on earth for sure. All I know right now is that I"m happier than I"ve ever been and looking forward to a long life together with my beautiful wife.
