Here in the FL panhandle, all you have to do is drop your trailer off at the power company field office and they start dropping "pulled" poles on it as they carry them back to the yard. The ones that are not given away are cut into 3-4' lengths and loaded into a dumpster for hazmat disposal--this costs 'em money. Not sure if it's the same where you are but check around before buying...
