Taking your advice, I bit the bullet & paid the $62 for the filter. The only thing that made me feel any better was the dealer had 15 of them on the shelf collecting dust. Albeit it is really NOT the dealers fault the tractor company makes proprietary parts..... & I should have just been grateful the dealer had the filter...
