I've had two Melroe, two White, one IH 720 over the last 36 years. White (Oliver) was by far the best. 720 was popular, but with the auto reset, it likes to fail to completely reset if a cornstalk is under the plowshare. White resets perfectly every time- totally different mechanism- does not ride over little rocks or stubble. Ran them side by side, and could always tell which furrows were turned by the White. Much more uniform furrows.
