Those victor traps always do a good job, though I've seen bait robbed from em, just have to increase the number of traps, might make adjustments on some to get that hair trigger effect, usually you have to be careful setting them down or they'll go off.
D-con, mice take and hide it, then you end up with half dazed and dying mice running around, they'll die in bad places like your tool box or in a wall, once that stuff is taken and stored somewhere, new mice will still find it for years, and it does em in, but when you get a whiff of something just foul enough to get you attention, you'll know what it is, sometimes stronger odor, other times less noticable, someone did that here, I think that stuff is worthless, the ole victor traps work good.
Gemplers have some of those live traps available, can put some food and water in there so they don't keel over and start to reek, gives you some time to dispatch the vermin, strategically placed they seem to work well too.
