I have been looking for a small engine to repower a Satoh 650 tractor. The cost of repairing my present engine exceeds the value of the tractor. A Volkswagen 4 cylinder diesel or gas engine is physically a little too large. The little 3 cylinder Suzuki gas engine which is used in the Geo Metro car looks like it would have potential. Does anyone know if this engine had an industrial application where it would of already been equipped with a govornor? Or does anyone have firsthand experience with repowering this particular tractor? Thanks.
