Not that I want to get involved today, but did you know the US gov convicted US military personnel of water boarding prisoners about 100 years ago? Shouldn't the families today demand a full pardon and a repeal of any dishonorable discharge? Why were those soldiers convicted of torture if that isn't torture? I will never vote red and it doesn't have as much to do with torture as it does with economics. Blue states are always having to help out red states time and time again except in big oil country of course. Red states couldn't make it without slaves and since then red states have been dirt poor, of course not including big oil states. After all is said and done it will be blue states that come up with solutions out of this so-called oil crisis and hopefully release the people of this country from the grip of big oil. Seems this government is being led by texans. Do a search on all the big names in administration in last 8 years and you'll find a heck of a lot are from texas or in Cheney's case moved from texas to Wyoming in order to skirt the law stating a prez and VP can't be residents of the same state. Don't mess mess with Texas, just give it back to the Mexicans and buy oil from Mexico. We'd be better off.
