I have heard drivers say that they would know after a certain number of hours running on open road, that their Detroit would need a gallon or two of oil. They said that they would pour the oil in and keep running, never letting it cool off. I remember not long ago if you didn't have a 318, you did'nt talk about your rig.
Not to change the subject, but any comments about Nissan med duty diesel trucks? I am presently trying to close a deal on a C&C with 325K on the odometer. Tom S.
