Evolution is true, to a point. When you add medical care and put a value on life, evolution stops. The concept with evolution is that only those members of the species most adapted to the environment survive long enough to reproduce. Historically disease has kept the population in check. Modern science has 'fixed' that problem. The current policy of saving everyone is responsible for the over population.
We can see this happen in other areas of nature. Any time an organizm is introduced to an environment without a natural predator the population explodes. This idea works for diseases, insects, fish, etc. The same concept works for people, only here we have modified our environment by preventing deaths.
