Not one darn tire company still makes a GOOD tire anymore foreign or US made. I guarantee you can't wear any of the new ones down to BALD before they blow out or fail period! Last Thursday BOOM sidewall went out of a Firestone 23 deg right beside the bead with 70% tread left. Didn't run over nuthin with it just disking in the summer heat. Had several Goodyear radials develop cracks inside pinching tubes before worn past 80% and they knew something was wrong because prorated it off new ones. Will see if BF Goodrich or Michelin trying now last any longer or goes out business before the tires wear out? Seen lots of bald bia ply tires from years ago but when have you seen a new style radial or bias ply one worn bald? Won't happen.... Made to fail so you buy a new one.
