More on the ford/cummins

From what I remember Ford and Cummins and Case/I.H and another(forgot)put alot of money in a joint deal to design a new engine.Then word got out Cummins was going belly up and ford did not want to lose the tall dollar that they had put into the effort.So Ford bought Cummins.Also on the 3208 cat in pickups about 10 years ago a couple boys up in Minn were doing it with ford and chevy pickups,course we all know how much work you would have to do on the frontend to hold the cat up might be ok if you never take it off road.
