One thing that amazes me is that behind a keyboard's internet anominity, people get real mean. Most of these people never would dream of acting so mean in person. Years ago I worked for my uncle, in construction. He had a meeting with a guy in a dispute over some repairs done to my uncle's truck. The mechanic had never met my uncle, just talked on the phone. I showed up at the shop a little ahead of my uncle, who had me drop the truck off. This guy was telling me that he was gonna kick my uncle's azz. I didn't say a word. My uncle showed up, 6'7" 290 lbs. 12 years, in the USMC, master sargent. After Uncle got outta his truck, you would have that guy was my uncle's long lost brother!!! Guy was looking scared to death. Good idea, uncle had put several people in the hospital. All that azz kicking became some butt licking pronto!

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
