Wow Burr, it sounds like I need to get to know you better. Looks like we could take our stories of how not to make deals and write a book. I did make a deal for two tractors through this site for two Allis B's in Lockport NY about 700 miles and was very pleased. Made the trip, let the loaded trailer set in his drive, drove over to the falls and spent the day. I also get regular E-mail from him. Vince and his wife Pat are very nice people. I would not want leave the notion that all my deals go bad. Its a good idea when dealing 5 miles away or 5000 miles to wear a pair of cast iron shorts.
