For the most part the majority of legal, licensed, insured drivers, with state licensed and state inspected vehicles, in the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex area are either "safe" or "defensive" operators.
At the other end of the scale is a small percentage of those that will crash into a vehicle, kill or critically injure the occupants of the other vehicle, and either drive away if possible or run away from the accident on foot.
If they are ever caught, they generally admit to no wrong-doing and have no remorse; however, they appear to be very camera shy because they always cover their face or cover their handcuffs.
Unfortunately in the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex we usually have at least a monthly occurance of the events described above.
The scary part is that more and more of this is occuring in the rural areas.
