My wife's 93' Sedan DeVille has done this since it was just out of warranty. A new serpentine belt helps for a few months then it's back. Anymore I just give the belt a squirt with STP or some other belt dressing and everything is quiet sometimes for a month, sometimes longer. My daughter's 92' Eldorado with the same engine and belt has never had a problem. Must be a GM thing. My 89' F-150 never a sound, I have to remember to check the belt. Found it once paper thin and ready to snap. Always carry a spare.
