I own a 8006.All my other tractors are John Deere but I will never get rid of the deutz. I run it every day on my feed mixer and it will use half as much fuel as a JD.They have very good engines just make sure you keep the fins on the cylinder heads clean and you will never overheat it. The only problem with the 8006 is the brakes are not as good as the deere hydraulic wet brakes but they still work fine.I never have to fix it, just change oil and filters. And it has more gears then I know what to do with.Alot of my friends make fun of that tractor but when the need to borrow a tractor to put on a manure pump they always come get the deutz because the know it will run all week on a tank of fuel.If you are not going to buy it let me know were it is and I will be there tommorow with cash in my hand.
