My 9 N runs rough at idle and not much power for bushhog or finish mower. Linkage bent to make up for weak govenor spring. Starts with one third choke and throttle at one third (the way it should) but no power unless at full choke and full throttle. Gets worse when it gets hot (30 minutes)
Plugs and wires need to be replaced. Coil, cap, etc are good. six volt system. new radiator, runs a little hot, fan belt is tight. Always use fresh gas-good gas flow-everything in system is clean, no gas cap vacumn problem as far as I can tell.
Loud-could manifold gasket be letting air suck in and thereby require full choke? How to test? Replaced manifold two years ago. It"s tight.
Thanks IF anyone in eastern Pa has something new and stronger for sale, let me know.
