Why are you spraying it at all? Make them eat the weeds. Most anything you're killing with 2-4D is just as good for them as the grass. Get into rotational intensive grazing. Give them enough for a day or two at once, make them eat it down clean and then move to another piece. That will cure your weed problem and likely promote a much more mixed stand of grasses that will thrive. More work, but not really much expense to it... The only weed problems we have here are ragwort and thistles. The discbine takes care of them before they set seed.
