This has nothing to do with a virus or spy ware. It's part of the Windows OS warning system that you could possibly loose unsaved work with that action that you started.
As rhouston stated, when you reboot/shut down without first logging off the user(s) account(s) then you will get this screen warning. It is possible that you could loose any unsaved work.
If you first log off each user account, then reboot/shut down, then you will not loose any work and you will not get the warning message.
