One of the best things any of us can do is to look up our back condition on the net. There's a bunch of good reading there. When I was diagnosed with Stenosis the doctor spent about one minute explaining it and that was it! When I came home I got on the net and spent an hour gaining knowledge about it. It's very common, by the way, most of us who are over fifty have it to some degree.
