If you are thinking of the ring type chains with the toe-corks on them, your tractors are not heavy enough to give them a good bite, plus thy are really rough riding on hard going, and your road comissioner won't like it if you go on the town roads when theyr'e soft. Try some studded link ladder type chains made for farm tractors. They look like regular chains but the cross chains are tied together all around the wheel so they can't fall down between the lugs, and each link has two round studs the same wire size as the link sticking straight up about half an inch. They are $495 plus shipping from www.labonville.com. That's to fit tire sizes up to 15.5x38 the bigger ones are $795 plus shipping.Skidder chains start at $895 and weigh twice as much. The brand name on these is Hakki another one I know of is Valby, and I think Pewag also makes them.
