I'm miffed because all the 190's I've seen were a 540rpm pto you need to find out if it's a seriesIII and look at the pto shaft to see if it is flanged with bolt heads like maybe four or six 9/16" bolt heads which could mean it swaps out and turns around. Like JMS said check the manual it may possibly be a late model. I would post this on the AC forum there are a lot of knowledgeable people on there. As far as the 301 engine it's as sound as any engine made as long as someone hasn't got to the fuel pump with happy fingers. The engine is capable of some serious hp if unabated.
