All B's, C's and CA's front endes bolt to the front of the block with 1/2 inch studs. I knew they were wrong when Hillbilly was saying he couldn't figure out why he was having so much trouble getting the nuts off. The CA block is taped for 5/8 inch threads but a stepped stud was used from the 5/8 inch course thread down to the 1/2 inch fine thread. The holes thru the fronts are for a 1/2 inch stud. Yours would have been drilled out. Check your B they should be correct. Were the studs removed from the block you received from me? If they were you will find that a 1/2 bold will screw in. The front of the block on that C was broke out on one stud. That is probly the reason. You really need a new/different block for that one as well to correct those problems. You could get threaded rod to put in the old holes and drill and tap them to the 1/2 inch. With the front being drilled out larger you would have some room to be slightly off center but not much.
