I am always amazed at the difference between farm-raised turkeys and wild turkeys - same genetics, but no comparison in survival skills. The woodlands surrounding my house is full of skunks, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, hawks, feral cats, and yet a flock of wild turkeys manages to survive and raise a few young ones every year. The tame turkey would not survive more than a day or two in the same scenario.
Need an example - Paris Hilton qualifies as a tame turkey. She couldn"t survive on her own without her daddy"s money. In the real world, she would be pathetic. (Of course, I may be too hard on her - she does kinda have the natural instincts to become a street-walker!).
