yeah, I've got my eye on these storms, am certainly glad that those in more vulnerable places than us, did ok so far. The weather finally broke here, been sunny and dry practically for 3 weeks now, those who managaged to get their first cut in, no matter what it came out like, sure must have been glad to get it off the field, as the 2nd cut I have seen here has been awesome.
I've got a 100 x 200 patch turned over, had no time to disc it, lime, seed and cultipack, ( farmer left his brillion by our field) couple of passes and I'll have a really nice clover patch in front of my stand, just never enough time in a day though, even for a drop in the bucket size patch, but busy means $$$, so cannot complain, sure would be perfect timing to get it in before the storms hit, we always get soaking rains from these if the track up by us, lot of them in the past were all day soakers.
