I had some of that crap bothering my tv and I traced it to a remote controlled skylight that the neighbors across the road had installed...after I shut off every electrical system I had checking to see if it was something I had going bad.
Well, the neighbors knew it was their baby cause I asked them to turn their tv on and I checked it from the front door of their house...and it was worse than mine. (I should mention that he mistreated a dog and I offered to punch him in the nose before this.) So, he must have thought this would get him even for the previous mishap.
But, anyhow, to get to the point...his wife came up with breast cancer and they split and left the house in bankruptcy and unlocked. I being a Ham took the handheld 2 meter rig and had someone here on the base radio (late at night)and I turned off every circuit in their electrical box till I found the circuit making all the noise. It went down a piece of 4" plastic pipe...I reached as far as my arm would reach and whacked them off. And the new owners (an older couple)don't know anything about it...and our little world is back to normal. Would any of you fellows call me a bad neighbor? Or just someone who can get the job done...smile.
Since then, I have become a christian and my conscience is bothering me somewhat...and I'm getting married (at 67) in about a week....and don't want that crap to be here for the new wife or the new neighbors. I'm open for any and all your comments. ohfred

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
