By all means, buy the I.T.&T shop manual...the owner's manual will be of little help in repairing anything. You will likely need a new gasket for between the PTO housing and the rear end and also a new one for the top of the rear end IF you remove the lid...both available from Case. If you have the lid off the rear end, I would certainly replace the seal that the PTO drive shaft from the engine runs through located between the rear end housing and the transmission...it will never be easier to do and failure of that seal results in fluid from the transmission migrating to the rear end.
