And it's all headed right for us in mid Michigan! Couldn't buy rain in July and August,now that we're trying to fill silo and take the best cutting of hay that we've had all year,it won't quit. It's been raining for about 52 hours straight now and the eye of Ike hasn't even gotten here yet. Weather prognostacators on the local news last night said it would be mainly south of I-96 today,but they missed the mark. Must be moving too fast to turn quick and is sliding right into us. I think I might as well take about a months vacation. Tractor and chopper are sitting in the field and I wouldn't even dare try to drive it out right now. Gonna be a LONG fall. Bringing back memories of 1986 when we had over 18 inches in September, 12 of that in a 36 hour stretch.

Today's Featured Article - Tire Fluids - by Curtis von Fange. It came as a surprise. The tire on the tractor needed to be pulled off to get to the brakes for service.
