Ya, just think if we had oil coming in from the East Coast, and California, and Alaska. And just think if we had more refineries all across the country, instead of being so concentrated in the Gulf region. Wouldn't it be great if we had all these other sources to get us through these times of storms and short-term lack of production in the south? Yes, it would be nice.
Drill here, drill now. Build refineries all over, build nuclear power plants all over. If people want to erect millions of windmills across our plains, I think that's ok too, but more than likely unnecessary. And if people want to drive electric cars, they will require much more electricity than we are currently producing, so clean, dependable, nuclear power plants will be required, as well as more clean burning coal-fired plants.
