A kid down the road from me is selling off all his old garden tractors. He's got them lined up along the road. 5-6 Economys of varios ages, also a Strck mini-dozer.
I used to work for an Economy Power King dealer -but that's when they were newer - mid to late 70s. Economy started in 1946 with a 7 horse engine hooked to a Crosley car transmission and some Ford Model A rearaxle parts. It became Power King later on - the name from Engineering Products Co., Ellis St., Waukesha, Wisconsin. We were still selling them new in 1978 - not sure when they stopped. We had new model 1612 with 12 horse, model 1614 with 14 horse, and model 2418 with 18 horsepower.
