I think there is a porus plug that's supposed to drain excess fuel out of the air horn of the carb if it floods. I don't believe there is a screw there. SInce your carb is flooding, recheck your float setting. The M-S carbs are eally sensitive to that.
If you have a engine miss, check your spark first. It should be FAT, AND BLUISH-WHITE. if you have that, then recheck your carb adjustments. P.s. You'll get more responses on the N forum rather than here.
