I just called AAP and the price was $47 for 5 gal.,,, I offered 38.95 they took me up so I cleaned them out,,, I feel that $70 is gouging for sure,,, gear oil does not sell like gas,,, for the most part it sets on the shelf till its needed and not in high demand,,, next chance you git play the cost match game wif chain stores like Advance and autoZone,,, they will cut each others throat,,, they will loose money to cost the other a sale
