I think so much of it sold cheap because of the auctioneer. We had a bid of $1500 in on the V-rake, but they sold it for $1300.
My dad protested it and one of the hands said they saw our bid, but they didn't open it up again. Seems like there was that problem on lots of stuff. Didn't give guys much time to think either, and a lot of the stuff was sold before any interested parties knew they were near it.
Overall, I'd say the auctioneer did NOT run it very well at all.
