there's a whole group of these "cowboy poets" that my farrier is always turning me on to...almost all seem to sport luxurious facial hair and hats as tall as their tales. He loves to listen to their tapes ( no CDs for his old F350) My farrier, Gil Stevenson, can hang in there as a great story teller/ BS artist also. Over 60 years old and he can still touch his palms to the ground without bending his knees- and his work with my horse's feet put a 16 year old mare with navicular on the winner's podium in barrels in OKC last year.
