The post below got me thanking. What has been the worst deal you have gotten at a sale?
Mine was a set of 18.4-34's with about 50% tread, not weathered any. I looked at them before the sale and could not see any thing wrong with the top one, the top of the bottom one or the inside of them. Bought'm for $200. The bottom one had a huge chunk out of the side wall.
Lesson leared- never buy tractor tires at a sale unless you have some one to help you flip them both over and get a good look at them.
