Just a few pics I took. Harvest is moving along at a nice pace. Rain is coming tuesday so that will give us a little break in the action to catch up on some other things.
How bout this for a suprise. I believe is a B-17 superfortress. Its been flying in and around Peoria for a few days and I caught my first glimpse today. Maybe somebody can tell us more about it. Not the best picture but it was quite a nice distraction. Really was something to hear it roar past.
Tonights sunset, they sure are coming alot earlier than they did.
Grinding away at the beans. 80 acres left to go. We should get done tomorrow but this last 80 has some test strips in it so we will be busy with a weigh wagon checking results and that will slow us down.
Just a picture of the 1086 and a couple of wagons catching beans off the combine on the go. Today was only the second day this fall we didnt get the wagons stuck. Its not really muddy but the tilled ground is very soft.
Quitting time on thursday evening. Lots of moisture in the ground and air has kept us from running in the dark for the most part.
