I posted yesterday that buddy has 2 tractors and cant start either for different reasons.Tractor 1 51 JD b,Had a 3d party show up with more experience with electric,we found if we put the 2 wires leading to the new generator (after having it rebuilt and switched to 12 volt)together that all is well. Things are charging and starting as it did before. Tractor 2 38 JD A Buddie couldnt hand start. When the 3d party tried his hand at starting it last night they noticed antifreeze coming from pit cocks. Not a good thing. He then told me that explained the note that the seller left on the sales reciept (when they delivered it he wasnt home) saying that he didnt have any antifreeze in the tractor.Buddie thought that was do to it was in storage and inside. He just put some in and didnt think about it again till last night.Guess I know what we will do this weekend.Hope its just a gasket.
