Got some pics today of Monsanto harvesting a test plot near where we were picking corn today. Maybe someone out there can fill us in on the combine and exactly what they were doing. Got some pics of both combines they were using. Looks like one is from Europe and the other is a modified New Holland.
Here is the 4010 working a just a little on the auger. Good news is the corn is drying down nicely, this 108 day corn is under 19 percent.
This is the 1456 working hard pulling wagons. All the rain we had in september has the ground very soft and we got about 3/4 of an inch tuesday just to keep is sticky.
