Let me tell you a true story...once had a Chev. SS w/327 motor. Wrung it out a bit too tight one day and motor started to sound like a rock crusher. I was on my way back to tire shop I worked in and immediately drained oil...changed filter...and refilled motor oil substituting 1 qt. MMO. This was first time I had ever used an oil additive. When I cranked engine, the racket was gone and motor ran quietly. I do NOT believe in a bunch of motor oil additives...consider most of them to be *snake oil* and an effective way to lighten your pocket of money, but I DO believe in MMO after that incident. There is nothing there to harm your engine and it may very well do it some good. Good Luck!!
