I tried to limit my work to new steel. I had seven metal fabicators who built cyrogenic tanks, paper pulp machinery, architectural steel, large machinery bases, sub-assemblies for submarines, etc who kept me busy. I did work on four bridges. The last one required full containment, negative air that had HEPA filtration, collection of the spent abrasive and paint, and assignment of the material to a certified waste hauler. The job was done for the Army Corps of Engineers and they as well as everyone else who handled and buried the waste is now and will be liable for ever for the waste. I am from Massachusetts. If those body shop were located here, they could have negative equity on their property. All commercial property in this state has to be tested prior to sale.
