Larry,these hoes are real handy IF you have them set up right. Mine is a DU-AL that was set up for 3pt use. It had a chain in place of the top link which attached to a clevis on the draw bar which more or less made the hoe/tractor one as long as there is tension on the chain. It worked alright, but the big drawback is that you are diverting some of the tractor hydraulic flow to keep the lift arms up, thus tensioning the chain, and the net result is not enough flow to the hoe. This setup isn`t real solid either. I ended up making a frame which slides onto the inner lift arm pins and the loader frame in front. Now using an adjustable top link hooked to the drawbar clevis, I get a rigid lock up almost as good as the real thing. It`s important to tie the whole tractor together like this. I`ve never seen it, but I`ve heard of tractors busting at the tranny ears if not set up right. If you need more info e-mail me.
