Not quite a miracle, but it got your attention. I bought a used ATV that I posted about starting/idle problems that had been giving me fits. Anyway, I put in a range hotter plug, got the carb adjusted to where it runs a little better and makes a real good attempt at a smooth idle. It didn't start the first time with the electric starter, but a pull or two with the rope and it started, warmed up, and would start with the E starter after that. The pull starter was pretty much warn out and came apart a couple of times, got fixed, etc. Finally went 100% TU and my only option was a squirt of either to help the electric starter kick it. Parts for the machine are hard to find and inflated when I did find anything so a dollar can of ether was my compromise. Surfed around and found that my machine was built from Yamaha parts and was a copy of the Beartracker or Bruin. Those parts was more affordable, so I ordered the pull rope for one of them. Got and installed it. Figured I'd try the electric starter before I pulled the rope and it started right up (with the button). Been starting ever since. Just used the rope once to see if it worked. Imagine that. I also ordered a new carburetor, curious to see if my idle problem goes away before I install it. I've bought some "just in case" car parts over the years for routine repairs that were never needed. If I hadn't had them, sure I'd be walking
