Beans are almost out, about 2 rounds left, rain moved in too soon last night, didn't get the yield I had hoped for, but it was very cool and dry during critical bean growing days. Corn can go anytime, down to 16%. Should yield good. My calves have all made it to the weaning stage, no losses this year, cows are all bred, bull can go back down the road. Wife lost 11#'s off an already fine looking body. Chickens are laying great for the age. My back hasn't bothered me since I "corrected" it trying to lift that 10' tie out of the hole. My Oliver started this am in 28 degrees with no assistance. Kids are happy and healthy. My brother in law is looking for a true "starter" home for his new fiance, not a new one, a fixer upper. Life just isn't so bad if I just do not watch the news. Hate what is happening in all the branches of government, but right here, right now, all is well!
