Yeah, I had faced the same problem and I actually cut off one of the bent metal plates/straps from the loader frame, figuring I would weld it back on at some later time, if this one ever gets some kind of a restoration etc., not the end of the world, but seemed like there was just no other way after looking it over carefully.
This gave me enough room to unbolt and slide that pump out and away, making room to get the belt on, do believe I tried everything and never figured out how that coupling comes apart, nor could I get the pump to move enough without cutting that strap off the frame, which was a last resort, I hate doing things like that, be interested to hear how yours goes, have an 850 and a wagner too. Must have missed something if you can change the belt and not cut that strap off to give the pump some room.
