That is a good start but here is a better description of the solenoid, two heavy terminals on either side with a small one in the middle. It has a fourth terminal on the end which is connected by a copper bar to the starter, which I took to be a ground. When I got the tractor the battery cable was connected to the inside heavy terminal and a wire from the starter switch was connected to the outside (heavy terminal) one. No wires existed from the volt reg so I do not know if one should go from the small terminal to the volt reg or switch ??? Stumped at this point. This all may be the result of a person making due with what they could find.
