I'll ad to Old's comment that getting it below the ridge left by the upper piston ring, then using a ridge reamer on it will allow it to move up and out. Without this it will for sure break something you need, The piston rings are still stuck in their lands, and will not get past the ridge. JimN

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
