Why is it that everyone thinks the President has the power by himself to do ANY of the things said in the campaigns?? The only thing they have is VETO power. They,by themselves, do not have the power to enact ANYTHING!! It's the House and Senate members that we all should select very carefully. There are enough checks and ballances in place that Presidents are lucky if they get 25% of what they campaign on. If anybody has listened to the very limited media coverage of Ralph Naders Q&A sessions you would know who SHOULD be our next President. Why do you think he has gotten NO coverage and has been banned from any debates?? Most don't know he is even running! He is and always has been FOR THE PEOPLE and against special interest running this country. It ain't gonna matter whether you vote Dem. or Rep.this country will NOT progress until special interest and their money STOPS running our government!!! He took on GM single-handedly and WON! And that was when he was young and inexperienced. Think what he could do for "we the people" now that he has experience AND wisdom that age brings! This man is here for US and we are too damn ignorant and tunnel visioned to see it! If we keep putting these "party" buffoons in office there ain't a damn one of us has a right to b*tch about the outcome!
