Ooohhh man, that brings back memories.....long and black and don't come back. Spent 4 years on USS Archerfish SSN678 (637 stretch hull Fast Attack)home ported out of New London. The last 365 days in the Navy I spent 270 days at sea (not continous). Was I ever glad to get out! Went to the North Pole on IcEx-86. I had a York peppermint patty there. Never had one since. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
